My name is Amanda Kraus and I’m a freshman at Winona State this year. I’m majoring in Psychology, with a minor in Communication Studies. Going to New Orleans has really opened my eyes to things I’ve never seen, and made me realize how much of a difference someone can make in another person's life by donating just a little bit of their time. I really encourage anyone that is even thinking about volunteering to go down and help. It’s honestly a life changing experience, and is something I will always remember.
