Hi, my name is Lorena (Lore) Domke and I am a freshman at Winona State this year. I received an e-mail message and saw posters around campus about this class and I saw it as an incredible opportunity and was immediately drawn to it. As the trip approached and I talked with my friends and family, I began to wonder if I would regret "giving up" my spring break. Of course I did not. I had an amazing time and I learned a ton. I don't see it as "giving up" my spring break either, I just spent the extra time helping a cause that needed my time much more than I did!
