JavaSpeak Download and Install Instructions

 

  1. If you do not already have Eclipse installed on your computer, download and install Eclipse 2.1 .
  2. Download the zip file named acclipse.zip and extract it into the plug-in subdirectory of your eclipse home directory. The 7 files in the zip file include:
  3. Cut and paste “error.wav” and “testsnd.wav” into your eclipse home. Alternatively, you may put sound files for error and success of your own choice, but rename them as above.
  4. To use Eclipse without a mouse requires using shortcut keyboard commands.
