Prerequisites: CS 250 - Algorithms and Data Structures 
CS 301 - Discrete Structures
Grading: (Tentative) 
50% Programming and Homework Assignments 
20% 2-5 Learning Tests 
30% Comprehensive Final Exam 
 
Grading Scale: Letter grades are computed on a 10 point scale: 
    90-100 = A; 80-89 = B; 70-79 = C; 60-69 = D; 0-59 = F 

Restriction: If your overall average is 70 or above, the average of all your program grades, the average of your test grades, and your final exam grade must each be > 65 to receive a C or better overall grade for the class.

Late Work: Each student starts the semester with 4 free late days in the bank. A homework or program assignment that is late by one day will be accepted with the use of 1 free late day. No late work will be accepted without the use of valid free late days. Partial credit will however be given for incomplete work according to the specifications given on the individual assignment.
Collaboration: Illegal collaboration on assignments, programs or tests will result in a grade of F for the course according to the Department Collaboration Policy.
