Group of 3 students each. Select a programming language (not covered in the text book) from literature.

Current List of Languages Taken

Presentation Guidelines: 10 minutes max. Create power point presentation (ex. “JavaScript.ppt”) and store in shared folder.

Discuss its chronology – history, motivation, primary goals etc.

What generation (I-V) does this language belong to?

What is the essential paradigm/characteristic supported by this language?

Discuss its Syntactic Structural Organization.

Discuss its Data Organization.

Discuss its scoping rules.

Discuss its Control Structures.

Discuss where and in what capacity the language is/has-been used.

Evaluate its success (with reasons) and failures (with reasons).

General concluding remarks.

Bibliography.
