Biography

Dr. Trung Nguyen is an Assistant Professor of Computer Science at Winona State University in Minnesota. Dr. Nguyen received his Ph.D. degree in Computational Sciences at the University of Southern Mississippi (USM) in 2020. His research is focused on machine learning, data mining, blockchain and their applications in different domains such as social network analysis, crime prediction and prevention, swarm robotics, etc. He is also interested in applying blockchain and reinforcement learning in swarm robotics, which is an important topic of increasing interest due to its effective applications in various areas. His leisure activities include reading, photography and watching tennis and soccer matches.
